Last Updated: 1 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the JFR Auto Parts website and the purchase of products from JFRAutoParts.co.uk.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

1. ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

JFR Auto Parts supplies OEM, OE-equivalent and aftermarket automotive parts for various vehicle makes and models.

Product descriptions, specifications, photographs and compatibility information are provided to assist customers in selecting products.

Product appearance, packaging and specifications may vary where manufacturers make changes.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, references to manufacturer part numbers are provided for identification and compatibility purposes and do not necessarily mean that the product is manufactured by that vehicle manufacturer.

2. COMPATIBILITY

The Buyer is responsible for confirming that the selected product is suitable for the intended vehicle.

Compatibility may depend on:

  • Make and model;
  • Year;
  • Engine;
  • Engine code;
  • Fuel type;
  • Gearbox;
  • Production date;
  • VIN;
  • OE/OEM number; and
  • Vehicle specification.

Customers should verify the original part number and product specification before ordering.

Where JFR provides compatibility assistance based on registration, VIN or catalogue information, such information is provided as guidance and should be independently verified before installation.

3. ORDERING

Orders may be placed through our website or through other ordering methods made available by JFR.

Customers must provide accurate information when placing an order.

Submitting an order through the website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected Goods.

An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received the order but does not necessarily constitute acceptance.

A Contract is formed when JFR accepts the order, normally by confirming dispatch of the Goods.

4. ORDER ACCEPTANCE & CANCELLATION

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • The product is unavailable;
  • There is an obvious pricing or description error;
  • Product information is materially incorrect;
  • Payment cannot be processed;
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is identified; or
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent fulfilment.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, the relevant payment will be refunded.

5. PRICES

Product prices are displayed on our website.

Unless otherwise stated, applicable VAT is included in the displayed price where required.

Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout where applicable.

Prices may change without notice, but changes will not affect an order after the Contract has been formed except where permitted by law.

6. PAYMENT

Payment must be successfully authorised or cleared before Goods are dispatched unless JFR has expressly agreed alternative payment terms.

Available payment methods may include credit/debit cards, bank transfer, PayPal or other payment methods displayed at checkout.

If payment fails or is declined, we may request an alternative payment method.

7. DELIVERY

Delivery arrangements, processing times, delivery services, tracking and international customs are covered in our Shipping Policy.

The Shipping Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

8. RETURNS & REFUNDS

Returns, cancellations, faulty Goods and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

The Return & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms removes any statutory cancellation, refund or consumer rights.

9. INSPECTION BEFORE INSTALLATION

Customers should inspect Goods before installation.

Before fitting a part, customers should verify:

  • Part number;
  • OE/OEM number;
  • Physical dimensions;
  • Specification;
  • Vehicle application; and
  • General condition.

If an item appears incorrect or damaged, customers should contact JFR before installation wherever reasonably possible.

10. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION

Automotive parts should be installed by a suitably qualified and experienced professional where appropriate.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that:

  • The correct part has been selected;
  • Installation instructions are followed;
  • Required ancillary components are replaced where necessary;
  • Appropriate fluids and consumables are used; and
  • The vehicle is properly inspected and tested after installation.

Unless expressly included in the order, the purchase price does not include labour, installation, diagnostics, machining, coding, programming, calibration, recovery or other associated services.

11. ENGINE & MAJOR COMPONENTS

For major mechanical components such as engines, cylinder heads, crankshafts, turbochargers and similar products, customers should ensure that the component is inspected and prepared appropriately before installation.

Where required, components should be professionally checked, measured, machined, calibrated or tested before use.

Failure to follow appropriate installation or preparation procedures may affect warranty rights where the failure or damage results from such action.

12. WARRANTIES

Where a product is covered by a JFR warranty or manufacturer’s warranty, the applicable warranty details will be provided with the product or stated on the relevant product listing.

Warranty claims may require:

  • Proof of purchase;
  • Product identification;
  • Description of the fault;
  • Photographs or video;
  • Evidence of installation or testing where relevant; and
  • Inspection or testing of the Goods.

Where a manufacturer or supplier is involved in investigating a claim, the claim may be subject to its technical procedures and investigation timescales.

Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights relating to faulty or non-conforming Goods.

13. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Subject to applicable law, warranty coverage may not apply to failures resulting from:

  • Incorrect installation;
  • Incorrect application;
  • Misuse;
  • Abuse;
  • Modification;
  • Neglect;
  • Failure to follow installation requirements;
  • Failure of another vehicle component;
  • Continued use after a fault becomes apparent; or
  • Normal wear and tear where applicable.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • Breach of statutory consumer rights; or
  • Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, JFR shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses where such losses can lawfully be excluded.

This may include loss of profits, business interruption or other consequential business losses.

JFR is not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect installation, misuse, modification or failure to follow appropriate installation requirements, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

The latest version will be published on JFRAutoParts.co.uk.

Any dispute will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdictional protections that apply.
